Today, MentorCloud, eCloset.me, and the Plug and Play Center were honored to host a visit in Sunnyvale, California, by distinguished guests, including:

Last night was the 2013 Silicon Valley kick off event for the US State Department TechWomen mentoring program for women in STEM from the Middle East and Africa. Before returning to Washington DC, Deputy Assistant Secretary Satterfield wanted to see the startups of 2012 TechWomen mentee Evelyn Zoubi (Founder at eCloset.me Inc./ Glan.se), and  TechWomen mentor Katy Dickinson (Vice President, MentorCloud) at the Plug and Play Center. Evelyn Zoubi and Ravi Gundlapalli (CEO and Founder, MentorCloud) gave presentations, and Jupe Tan (Vice President, Plug and Play) gave them a tour. They also met with Saeed Amidi (Plug and Play Founder and CEO).Ravi was very proud to show off his letter from former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton thanking him for his work on behalf of the International diaspora Engagement Alliance (IdEA).  The 78 TechWomen mentees will be in the Silicon Valley in October 2013.
